RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') 'standard-pattern', officers'-dress-model aluminium-based belt-buckle and accompanying 'brocade'-based belt (ie. 'Paradefeldbinde für Offiziere des Reichsarbeitsdienstes')

This is an attractive - fully complete and totally untouched! - RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') 'standard-pattern', officers'-dress-model aluminium-based belt-buckle and accompanying 'brocade'-based belt (ie. 'Paradefeldbinde für Offiziere des Reichsarbeitsdienstes') and that comes as issued and/or just moderately used- and/or worn, condition. The - truly very detailed! - buckle shows a clearly present makers'- (ie. 'A'- or: 'Assmann & Söhne'-, 'Ges.Gesch. '- and/or year- ie. '37'-) designation stamped into its back (something that is more often but not always encountered with these RAD-type dress ie.: 'Ausgeh'-) pieces: it is very detailed and retains truly extraordinary detail (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece it is just a tiny bit dusty caused by decades of storage but truly shows no heavy wear nor damage whatsoever. The accompanying belt (or: 'brocade') comes also in a very nice condition overall: the (inter-)woven embroidery is simply extraordinary. The belt - which comes in a full-length condition and measures approximately 105 cms. in length (and would thus fit any mannequin) but can of course 'sized to fit': it is 'lined' with the typical, greenish-brown-coloured, 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'-type cloth ie. wool (something that could without doubt be seen as a feature of an: 'Extra Qualität'-belt-set). The belt retains both its specific, sliding-'lashes' and light-brown-toned (pristine!) leather-based tongue and comes in a truly wonderful condition overall (it is void of any corrosion or alike and was with certainty carefully stored over the years). Simply a very attractive piece that was never before part of a collection: the set was recently found as such at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. In any case a great item to complete any 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'-officer in 'dress- ie. going-out' attire!
