This is a truly very nice - and in this condition actually fairly unusually encountered! - DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'), so-called: 'molded'-style, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based belt-buckle, being a neatly maker- (ie. 'OLC'-) marked example, in overall very nice (IMO virtually mint-/unissued!) condition. The buckle is IMO never issued ie. worn and still retains extraordinary detail as to be expected. The piece has a typical, greyish-coloured 'zinc'-like- appearance (ie. colour) and has never been cleaned nor polished (it has just acquired some blackened tarnish and/or normal age-patina over the years). The piece - which IMO is of an early-war production - is neatly maker- (ie. 'OLC'-) marked and also bears the: 'Ges.Gesch.'- patent-pending marking (as can be seen from the photos). Simply a very nice 'variant'-style German Red Cross belt-buckle which is actually not that common to encounter in this 'molded' version and/or virtually mint-/unissued condition. Simply a very nice and desirable belt-buckle that is IMO priced according to its superb condition!
