Very nice unmarked example of an Iron Cross 2nd class ('Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse') that comes with its original full-length ribbon - very nice, almost mint & IMO only slightly used ie. issued condition!

This is a very nice, albeit non maker-marked, Iron Cross 2nd Class ('Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse') that comes with its mint-/unissued and/or non-confectioned (approx. 29 cms. long) ribbon, as issued and stored for decades. The cross was most certainly never cleaned and has a nice age-patina and full (= undamaged) black-finished (ie. fairly matted) core. The cross - which has fine and crisp detail - has a nice appearance overall: it just shows some minor dirt and/or dust acquired over the years. As stated has the cross great and very fine detail: it is just a bit 'tarnished' over the years and has never been cleaned (it also shows most of its the neat 'Hochpolierte Kanten'). Simply a nice example of a non maker-marked IC that is IMO accordingly priced!
