Neat golden wound badge ('Verwundeten Abzeichen in Gold'), being a non-maker marked, 'Buntmetall' piece as (IMO) produced by the ‘Hauptmunzamt’ based in Wien - overall very nice albeit clearly used and worn condition!

This is a neat example of a golden wound badge ('Verwundeten Abzeichen in Gold') executed in 'Buntmetall' that comes as found and stored for years, in overall very nice condition. The badge - executed in 'Buntmetall' - shows normal wear and has a correct (thin-shaped) pin and typical catch set-up (making it IMO a piece as produced by the maker: Hauptmunzamt based in Wien). The badge is IMO never cleaned and is as stated void of any makers-mark ie. logo. It retains a nice age patina and truly great detail: of course does the piece retains a fully functional pin-/catch set-up. Simply a nice example of this quite scarcely observed badge!
