This is nice - and fairly large-sized - example of a Police (ie. 'Polizei') sport-shirt badge, executed in neat 'BeVo-weave pattern, in mint-/unissued and non-confectioned condition. These decorative badges were worn on the specific linnen-based sport-shirts and related garments. This is the large sized version (measuring: 24 x 20 cms.) and is neatly executed in so-called 'BeVo'-weave technique. The piece - which shows a (darker) green-coloured - and left-facing! - 'Polizei' eagle on a white linnen background - is just a bit wrinkled and shows some minor yellowish aging caused by storage for decades: it is non-confectioned nor damaged and cannot be upgraded. This example originates from a small collection of TR-sports-related badges I recently acquired. A nice - and fairly scarce! - example that IMO is accordingly priced!
