Scarce specific WH 'A-frame' strap ('Riemen zum Gefechts-/Sturmgepäck') executed in (tropical) webbing - mint, unissued condition!
Category:
I was lucky to encounter a small bundle of very nice (and truly scarce!), greenish-/yellow coloured webbing, WH 'A-frame' straps ('Riemen zur Gefechtsgepäck'), having the typical 2-loops, as specifically used to attach the mess-tin ('Kochgeschirr') in a horizontal manner on the 'A-frame' (or 'Sturmgepäck'). The straps - which are approx. 65 cms. long - are void of any markings nor stamps and are in a very nice, unissued, condition. The pieces are souple and of course fully functional. The metal roller-buckle and pointed (end-)pieces still retain their original paint (some show a maker-mark on the greyish anodized roller-buckle: 'WMF', whereas the end-pieces are mm: 'Lux'): the pieces are just a bit dusty but are void of any damage (some show some truly minor 'Flugrost' on the metal parts. The pieces are often referred to as being 'tropical' but saw also widespread usage throughout the war. As certainly known are these often missing! It should also be noted that these are 100% genuine WWII period pieces and not copies or fakes. I have 10 identical straps: the price is naturally per piece. A truly scarce piece of equipment that is often missing!
