Very rare 'Halbminiatur' medal 'Deutsche Volkspflege für Frauen an Bandschleife', that comes on its original mounted ribbon - nice, slightly used ie. almost mint condition!

This is a very nice example of the (scvery rare and never before encountered!) 'Halbminiatur' medal for 'Deutsche 'Deutsche Volkspflege für Frauen an Bandschleife' (civil service medal for women on ribbon bow) that comes mounted on its original folded ribbon as found, in nice, only slightly used (IMO almost mint!) condition. The ribbon is bright-red coloured and has originally been attached to the medal by a medal-maker or distributor (it still retains its functional, chromed clip & catch). The medal itself has a nice age-patina: as often with these 'Feinzink' medals is the piece somewhat tarnished and greyish in colour (it is also a tiny bit dirty but was never cleaned). The details on the piece, however, are truly stunning: certainly if one takes into account its very small (ie.1,8 cms.) size. Of interest is the fact that this piece came together with its accompanying full-size medal, which I offer under number 19672. I decided to price this miniature (which is most certainly more rare that its 'normal sized' counterpart) similar. A nice - and actually very rare - 'Volkspflege' medal executed in 'Halbminiatur' size!
